ITAHARI: Just a day after spokesperson of the government Ishwor Pokhrel hailed the honeymoon period of the present government as the most successful, senior leader of UCPN-Maoist Dr. Baburam Bhattarai Monday claimed that the present government has been unsuccessful.

Speaking with reporters at Itahari in Sunsari, Bhattarai said that the present government is in its final days as it is being paralysed by internal conflicts among its coalition partners. He assured that the present government would soon be replaced by the government under his leadership which guarantees the civilian supremacy in the state. He urged the Vice President to be more responsible by rendering his resignation from his post and help resolve the political turmoil in the country.
