Three agitating parties’ chiefs won’t be there

KATHMANDU: Chairpersons of three constituents of the UDMF will not attend talks called by the prime minister on Thursday.

Instead, other leaders of the parties will attend the talks, according to the UDMF sources.

Tarai Madhes Democratic Party Chairperson Mahantha Thakur is in India undergoing treatment; Sadbhawana Party Chair Rajendra Mahato is in Tarai and has fallen sick, according to his family source; Tarai Madhes Sadbhawana Party Chairman Mahindra Ray Yadav is out of valley, according to TMSP leader Ram Naresh Ray.

It is still not clear whether Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum-Nepal Chairperson Upendra Yadav will be there for talks or not, as his party sources could not confirm it and he could not be contacted over phone.
