Bara, October 13:

A decomposed body of an unidentified man was recovered near Bhangeri khola of Bara district’s Ratanpuri VDC today. It was impossible to identify the body due to the disfigured face.

He was wearing underwear, while his left hand and leg were missing. Even his fingers in right hand were chopped off. A team of police and journalists arrived at the site to probe into the incident. It is suspected that the unidentified man was brutally killed after torture. Post-mortem is yet to be carried out.

Meanwhile, two bodies were found in a jungle of Ramnagar Nayabasti in Bara’s Haraiya- 8 this morning. The two bodies were recovered in a jungle, 4 km away from Jaitapur, the Bara district police office said. The bodies were identified as those of Mainuddin Nat of Bhodaha-3 and his 12-year-old son Roj Mohammed Nat. Sharp weapons were used to kill the duo, police said after investigating into the incident.
