KAPILVASTU: Bomb disposal squad Shivadutta Battalion Goresinghe of Nepali Army defused three bombs inside the district police office council on Wednesday. According to DSP Dohabar Bahadur Basnet, an army team led by Captain Sandesh Adhikary defused a powerful pressure cooker bomb and two socket bombs. A police patrol team had seized the bombs from Kanaiya Tiwari, a resident of Sujhampur of Kapilvastu municipality 11, at Maryadapur border point in Kapilvastu district along the Indo-Nepal border on Friday, the police stated.
