DHANGADHI: Three children from Doti district have gone missing while they were playing in a boat on Karnali river.

Umesh Pun Magar and Harka Pun Magar of Badikedaar Rural Municipality-3, and Harka Thapa Magar of Badikedaar Rural Municipality-5 went missing in the incident.

According to District Police Office, Doti, the boys were rowing the boat at the conflux of Karnali and Thuligaad rivers when the incident occurred at around 5:00, Wednesday evening.

Chief of Badikedaar Rural Municipality Krishna Bahadur Chand said that locals, as well as the police, are in search of the children.
