BARDIAYA: As many as three persons died after two motorcycles collided with each other in Barbardiya Municipality-9 of Bardiya district on Saturday.

Police have identified the deceased as Suraj Chaudhary (21), Krishna Chaudhary (14), and Khagendra Basnet (23).

According to Bardiya District Police Office, the incident occurred when two motorcycles (Bhe 8 Pa 6968) and (Baa 19 Pa 9377) collided with each other at Bangai yesterday, injuring three.

The critically injured were rushed to Kohalpur Medical college where they breathed their last during the course of treatment, informed police.

Police after the Preliminary investigation said the accident might have occurred because of over speeding.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
