RAMECHHAP: Three cadres of the Nepali Congress sustained injuries when CPN-UML activists attacked them at Duragaun of Likhu Rural Municipality in Ramechhap on Wednesday night.

The injured NC activists are: Krishna Das Sunuwar, Krishna Bahadur Sarki and Shankar Poudel of the locality. Krishna Bahadur Sunuwar and Krishna Bahadur Sarki have sustained critical injuries on the head, face and eyes. Both of them are receiving treatment at Manthali-based Tamakoshi Co-operative Hospital.

Ramechhap police chief DSP Kumodh Dhungel said that two persons — Tej Bahadur Sunuwar and Uddhab Bhujel of the locality — had been held in connection with the incident.
