According to the Jhapa District Police Office, those taken ill are  Saraswoti Mukhiya (17), Arati Mukhiya (15)  and Anil Mukhiya (15). The injured are children of Radha Mukhiya of Chandragadhi-15.

DSP Bhim Bahadur Dahal at the DPO informed that the three had fallen sick after they unknowingly used the seeds of Dhaturo, kept with vegetables, in their food.

The seriously ill are undergoing treatment at the Mechi Zonal Hospital in Bhadrapur, police informed.
