Time to seek alternative to Dahal-led govt, says Yadav
KATHMANDU: Federal Alliance Coordinator as well as Chairman of the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal, Upendra Yadav, has said it is the high time that parties sought an alternative to the incumbent government.
Speaking with journalists in Kathmandu on Saturday, Yadav blamed the government for giving a rise to corruption and chaos.
He said the government could not collect the capital gains tax from the Ncell, but spent millions for cadres of the ruling parties to ensure their victory in the upcoming local level elections.
The agitating leader said the government should have held the federal elections following by the provincial ones before the local polls.
Meanwhile, Yadav reiterated that the nation would not come out of the political stalemate without amending the Constitution.
He rejected the proposal of putting the issue of provincial boundary on hold while amending the Constitution supposedly proposed by the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and suggested that no any issue should be left unaddressed.
