Kathmandu, May 10:

Discussion on the political report presented by acting general secretary Amrit Kumar Bohara at the ongoing 18th central committee meeting of the CPN-UML concluded today with all central leaders airing their views on it.

A press statement issued by chief of the party’s publicity department Raghu Panta stated that all central leaders expressed their views on Bohara’s political report, which has reviewed

the election and the party’s defeat in the polls, party’s stance on joining the new government and holding the eighth general convention.

Party sources said the eighth general convention will be held within six months.

The statement adds that acting general secretary Bohara would furnish replies to questions raised during the meeting on Monday.

More than 10 central leaders had aired their views on the political report in today’s session of the meeting.
