Tourists' attraction to rafting in Madi, Seti rivers on rise

DAMAULI, TANAHUN: Tourists are increasingly attracted to take joys of rafting down the Madi and Seti rivers.

With the onset of tourism season, the influx of tourists for rafting in the rivers is increasing.

Daily 15 to 20 boats are being used to bring the tourists to Gaighat. The distance from the Madi Bridge to Gaighat is 32 kilometres.

"Rapid Runner" agency guide Bibek Gurung shared that in this season tourists are mainly coming from the US, Japan, England, Finland, India, South Korea, China, UK, Denmark, France and Germany for the rafting.
