PANCHTHAR: A man died after a tractor (Ko 2 Ta 5407) hit a motorcycle (Me 6 Pa 2396) he was riding on at Phidim Municipality-4 in Panchthar district

According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, the deceased has been identified as Bhawani Prasad Bhattarai of Phidim Municipality-5.

Critically injured in the incident, Bhattarai was rushed to the District Hospital in Panchthar and then referred to the B and C Hospital in Jhapa where he breathed his last during the course of treatment on Tuesday night, police said.

Police said that they have impounded the tractor and arrested its driver Dambar Khawas of Arjundhara, Jhapa for investigation.
