PARASI: A child died after being hit by a tractor in Manjariya-9 of Nawalparasi district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as the two-year-old Indira Pariyar, daughter of Jeevan Pariyar.

According to police, the incident took place when a tractor (Lu 2Ta 5132) hit the minor at the place.

The minor breathed her last while being rushed towards Bhairawa for treatment, informed police.

For further investigation, police have impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver.
