INARUWA: A minor was killed after being hit by a tractor at Baklauri VDC-2 of Sunsari on Wednesday.

Police identified the deceased as 5-year-old girl Jenisha Giri of Baklauri VDC-2 in Sunsari district.

Giri was hit by a tractor (Ko 1 Ta 2332) while returning home on a bicycle from School informed the police.

SP Poshraj Pokharel said seriously Giri died while undergoing treatment at the Tarahara Hospital.

Meanwhile, police said they are looking into the case.
