Traffic along Pokhara-Baglung road partially resumes
PARBAT: Vehicular movement along the Parbat section of the Pokhara-Baglung road, obstructed for the past three days due to heavy rainfall and subsequent landslides, has resumed from today.
One-way transport services have been resumed from 10:00 am after a diversion was constructed at Betani of Tilhar VDC-9 and Andheri rivulet in Parbat district.
Chief at the Parbat District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mahendra Kumar Shrestha, said that the stranded vehicles have been sent to their destination by opening the diversion.
He further said that although vehicular movement has been resumed by making the diversion, it would take some more days to operate the transport services in a systematic manner.
Likewise, it would take whole day today to open the road obstructed by landslides at different places of the road including Lumle.
