SOLUKHUMBU: Traffic along the Tingla-Khanda road section under the Solu-Okhaldhunga road section in Solukhumbu district has resumed from today after remaining disrupted for the past six days.

The locals of the then Tingla VDC had been protesting the annexation of Tingla into Nechasalyan Rural Municipality against their demands to do so with Solu Dudhkunda Municipality.

The irate locals had piled stones and timber to obstruct the road.

They, however, came to an agreement after the Solukhumbu District Administration Office agreed to relay their demand to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development, chair of the struggle committee Bal Kumari Karki informed.
