There are no takers for a training aimed at uplifting the condition of conflict-women living in the district of Sunsari. The conflict-hit women willing to take part in the motorcycle maintenance training were requested to submit application forms within 15 days, starting February 21. As not a single application was forwarded within the given date, the deadline was extended to March 9, but to no avail, said Savitri Neupane, supervisor, Women Development Office in Inaruwa. Five women were to be imparted training under the programme, which was to be initiated by women development department of the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare.
