KAWASOTI: A parked truck has been torched at Pragatinagar in Devchuli of Nawalparasi district in the wee hours of Wednesday.

Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Nawalpur, Hari Baruwal said that the truck (Ga 1 Kha 4111) was torched at 1:00 am. The truck was heading towards Pokhara carrying noodles belonging to the Chaudhary Group.

Investigation into the case is underway, said police. Property worth Rs 2.4 million was gutted in the incident.
