TU VC wants registrar, rector appointed soon

Kathmandu, June 6:

Vice-Chancellor (VC) of the Tribhuvan University, Professor Dr Madhav Prasad Sharma, has called for the immediate appointment of the registrar and rector in the university.

Speaking at an interaction here today, Dr Sharma said, “As the executive council, which comprises the VC, registrar and rector, must appropriate the budget for the coming fiscal year, the two vacant positions must be filled at the earliest.” The executive council of the TU comprises VC, registrar as the member secretary and the rector as the vice-president of the council.
