Work related to the construction of tunnel is under way at the under-construction Super Dordi ‘B’ Hydropower Project based in Lamjung.

As per sources with the project based in Dhodeni, in Dordi Rural Municipality, Lamjung, 48 per cent work of the project has been finished. Of the 9,100-metre long tunnel, construction of 4,500 metres has been finished by now, the sources said.

The project has already completed works related to infrastructure development, road construction and electrification in the vicinity of the project site.

The 54MW run-of-the-river power project expected to cost somewhere around 8.81 billion rupees had signed PPA with Nepal Electricity Authority about three years ago.
