Turncoat wife, husband 'killed' after abduction
DHULIKHEL: Whereabouts of one, Ramchandra Acharya alias Arjun is unknown for the past one month. Acharya, a resident of Kavre's Kushadevi VDC-2, had disappeared since October 14. Police claimed that his wife Bhawani was involved in the abduction of her husband.
Demanding stern action against the turncoat wife and another alleged Laxman Timilsina of the same village, the locals have been pressuring the police to charge them as murderers.
Area Police Office Banepa stated that Bhawani has conceded that she had given Rs 50,000 to Timilsina for the abduction.
She told that she had opted for abduction after her husband frequently thrashed her alleging of physical relations with another male.
Meanwhile, Police Inspector at the APO, Rishikesh Pandey informed that police arrested Timilsina on Wednesday. Timilsina, however, claimed that he had not murdered Acharya. While Bhawani accused that he had told her that he had killed her husband.
The police on Thursday have filed a case of abduction against Bhawani and Timilsina. Inspector Pandey said that further investigation was underway and the duo was taken to District Police Office Dhulikhel. Police is yet to find Arjun's body.
