SUNSARI: Police have arrested two persons in possession of a pistol and magazines from Itahari of Sunsari on Saturday.

Prem Kumar Rai (33) of Sundardulari Municipality- 6 in Morang and Amit Kumar Singh ( 25) of Itahari-6 in Sunsari were on a motorcycle when police intercepted them at Itahari Sub Metropolitan City-17, only to discover they possessed arm and ammunition.

Police said they found a pistol and a magazine with three bullets from pillion rider Singh's possession, while an empty magazine was found in possession of the motorcycle rider Rai.
