KAILALI: Two boys have drowned in a river at Shivapur in Gauriganga Municipality-11 of Kailali district on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as eight-year-old Sachin Bhul and 12-year-old Aman Chaudhary, both residents of Shivapur, police said.

According to the District Police Office, Kailali, the two boys had gone with their friends to swim in local Kataina River.

They died at around 7:00 pm while swimming in the swollen river, said police.
