Two held with 1.4 kg opium in Jajarkot

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police said in its daily bulletin that the opium seized in Jajarkot weighed 1.4 kilogram. Earlier the RSS had reported that the haul was of 400 gram.
According to police, the joint team from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Kathmandu, and the District Police Office, Jajarkot arrested the duo from the Siddhartha Hotel in the Bus Park area of Bherimalika Municipality-4 of Jajarkot district.
The suspects Kush Bahadur Mahatara (28) and Nim Bahadur Singh (50) are residents of Nayakbada VDC of the district.

JAJARKOT: Two persons were arrested in possession of opium from the Jajarkot district headquarters on Saturday night.
Police said they seized 400 gram of the narcotics from Nim Bahadur Singh and Kush Bahadur Mahatara of Nayakbada.
The Nepal Police's Kathmandu-based Narcotics Control Bureau and the Jajarkot District Police Office jointly made the arrest, according to Dan Bahadur Malla, the chief of DPO.
