Two held with cache of pharmaceutical drugs, mobile phones in Pokhara
POKHARA: PoliceĀ apprehended two youth on charge of smuggling in and selling pharmaceutical drugs in Pokhara on Friday.
Identified as Parbat Kunwar (28) of Pokhara, Kaski and Tendi Sherpa (24) of Goli, Solukhumbu, the duo are accused of smuggling pharmaceutical drugs from India and selling to drug abusers in various places in the tourist valley.
Police said they seized 420 tablets of Nitravet, 31 mobile phones and two iPads from their possession.
Sherpa runs a restaurant in Bagaletol.
Police have filed a case for drugs smuggling against them at the District Court, Kaski, according to Superintendent of Police Hari Pal at the District Police Office.
