BHOJPUR: Two persons were injured after the motorcycle they were riding on rammed into a truck in Arun Rural Municipality-6 of Bhojpur district today morning.

Police identified the injured as Ganesh Pandey (45) and Mana Kumar Tamang (35) of Hile and Muga respectively, both in Dhankuta district.

According to Bhojpur District Police Office, the truck (Na 6 Kha 4484) heading towards Dharan from Bhojpur rammed the motorcycle (Ko 31 Pa 4545) coming from opposite direction, injuring the riders, at Majhi Chok in Jarayotar today.

A witness said the critically injured riders who were knocked unconscious, were rushed to a health facility in Dharan.

Meanwhile, police have impounded the truck and taken its driver Madan Rai of Temkemaiyung Rural Municipality into custody for further investigation.
