KATHMANDU: Two persons were injured in a hit-and-run case in Dhangadhimai Municipality-8 of Siraha district on Sunday.

The injured have been identified as Ram Jatan Sah (30) and his son Karan (5) of Dhangadhimai Municipality-9 in the district.

The incident occurred when the bus (Na 4 Kha 4258) hit a cart they were travelling on at around 9:30 pm yesterday, informed the Dhangadhi Area Police Office.

Police are in search of the bus driver who has fled the scene after the incident.
