DHANGADHI: Two persons lost their lives while four others sustained injuries in a bus accident in Lamki, Kailali on Friday.

The deceased have been identified as 12-year-old Anil Badi of Balchaur and 35-year-old Parchung Peter Tamang, informed Area Police Office, Tikapur.

Both Badi and Tamang were rushed to Tikapur hospital after the bus (Se 1 Kha 1188) en route to Mahendranagar met an accident while trying to avert hitting cyclist Badi. The deceased breathed their last while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Likewise, four Nepal Army trainees suffered injuries in the incident. Out of the injured, two are critically injured and have been referred to Nepalgunj, police informed.

The bus driver is at large.
