Narayangarh, March 20:

Two persons were killed and one injured when a truck met with an accident at Kurintar of Darechowk Village Development Committee (VDC) in Chitwan district this morning.

The loaded truck skidded off the road and plunged into Trishuli River at around 4 am. Truck driver Govinda Raut (26) of Kusumkhola-9 of Palpa and Kisan Gupta, 24, of Belahiya of Rupandehi were killed in the accident.

Surya Prasad Neupane, 25, a resident of Pharsatikhr of Rupandehi, who was injured in the accident, is being treated in Bharatpur Hospital. The truck was loaded with potato and was heading to Kathmandu.
