BAJURA: Two persons have lost their lives while one other has sustained critical injuries after a tree downed by strong winds struck them at Gaumul Rural Municipality-3 Gajre on Friday night.

22-year-old Dharma Bahadur Bohara and 21-year-old Bhim Bahadur Bohara, have died. Likewise, Khante Bohara who has sustained serious injuries in the incident was being taken to District Hospital, Bajura, locals informed.

The trio had ventured and camped into deep forests after a four-hour long walk from the village to fetch wood on Friday. Later, strong winds downed a tree on them, killing two, in the spot. The deceased and injured were found by local shepherds on Saturday afternoon.
