BIRATNAGAR: Two people died in separate accidents in Morang district on Sunday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office in Biratnagar, Lok Nath Dahal (50) of Haraincha-4 died when two motorcycles (Ko 8 Pa 764 and Ko 2 Pa 1808) collided with each other at Koshi-Haraincha road section.

Dahal's 10-year-old daughter, Aakriti, along with Devnath Majhi (48) and Sukani Majhi (30) were also injured in the accident.

Similarly, Yashoda Katuwal (61) of Sundar Dulari-1 died while undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

Katuwal was being treated for the injuries she sustained after being hit by a tanker (Ba 1 Gha 566), ferrying milk at Sundar Dulari yesterday.
