DAMAULI: Two persons riding on a motorcycle were killed on the spot after a tipper hit the two-wheeler they were riding on at Dhayere of Jamune VDC in Tanahun district on Friday afternoon.

Police said the victims as 23-year-old Dhal Bahadur Shahi and another man who has been identified with his monicker "Kuhire" only. Both of them were residents of Manpang VDC, policer

The motorcycle with registration number Ga 1 Pa 8743 was heading to Pokhara from Damauli when the tipper (Ga 1 Ka 2709) ran over it on Prithvi Highway this afternoon.

Locals obstructed the Damauli-Khairanitar of the highway after the fatal accident.
