BHOJPUR: Two minors reportedly drowned in a local stream in Morang district on Friday.

According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, Nita Niraula (13) and Sabitra Khanal (12) of Bahauni CDC-8 in Morang district had gone to a nearby stream in pretext of taking a bath before the incident this afternoon.

Police said their parents had recovered their daughters' bodies in the stream.

Meanwhile, Belbari Area Police Office has stated its investigation into the case, added police.
