Two missing in Tamor River

PANCHTHAR: Two persons went missing after they were swept away by a river in Hilihang Rural Municipality-5 of Panchthar district on Saturday.

According to Panchthar District Police Office, Sandeep Sewahang (21) and Jivan Suhang (19), both of Subhang in the rural municipality, were swept away Tamor River while they were fishing this morning.

The duo had entered the river for fishing with one other youth when all three were swept away. However, one youth managed to swim ashore, informed police.

Meanwhile, search is on for the missing duo, said police.
