Two police personnel hurt in clash with students

JANAKPURDHAM: Two police personnel were hurt when students at Mithileshwor Secondary School in Mauwahi of Dhanusa district, attacked them over a dispute today.

The dispute flared up when police tried to keep the tensed situation under control, following the demonstrations staged by the students demanding action against school headmaster. Police also rained batons on demonstrators.

The students demanded the dismissal of the head teacher, accusing him of embezzlement.

The students also demanded the dismissal of science and social science teachers.
