Two pressure cooker bombs defused in Dhangadhi downtown
DHANGADI: Nepal Army's bomb disposal squad defused two pressure cooker bombs planted at two separate places of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali district on Saturday.
A presser cooker bomb with a placard reading 'Khatara', translated as 'dangerous', was found at the Traffic Chauraha Bazaar in Dhangadhi today.
Similarly, another presser cooker bomb was found wrapped inside a jute bag at a roadside in Manhera Bazaar of the district.
According to Bir Bahadur Budhamagar, Spokesperson at the Kailali District Police Office, the authorities suspect Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist's involvement in the activities aimed to spread terror among the voters.
Transportation has resumed at the marketplaces after the bombs were defused.
