Janakpurdham: Chandra Deep Yadav and Yogendra Sahani, the two persons accused of murdering mediaperson Arun Kumar Singhaniya, were remanded to custody for further investigation today.

Dhanusha District judge Rajendra Acharya directed the Police Administration to keep them in custody for investigation.

Likewise, the judge ordered two other persons accused of the murder  Om Prakash Yadav and Ram Karan Yadav to post Rs 200,000 and Rs 50,000 bail respectively.

Former lawmaker Sanjay Sah, who is also one of the accused refused to continue his statement. Sah is said to be the mastermind behind the murder as well as of the bomb explosion in Ramanadanchowk .

The statement of the two plaintiffs and eight defendants had concluded yesterday. Mediaperson Singhaniya was shot dead at Shivachowk on the day of the Holi festival five years ago.

However, another murder accused Ram Binod Yadav is still at large.
