UDMF cadres pelt stones at police in Biratnagar
BHOJPUR: Cadres of United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have pelted stones at police personnel before staging a sit-in protest at Biratnagar-based Rani Customs Office on Saturday.
According to Morang District Police Office, security personnel had forced the agitators to move from the place after the UDMF cadres started pelting stones at them.
The cadres of UDMF had even pelted the stones at them from the Indian land too, informed DSP Pramod Kharel.
The Indian security personnel, however, had dispersed the group of agitators after the cadres threw stones at Nepal police personnel.
The coordination between the security personnel of two bordering countries prevented any untoward accident, informed Kharel.
