Birgunj, December 14

United Democratic Madhesi Front constituent Sadbhawana Party Chairperson Rajendra Mahato said today that the front would intensify its agitation in Madhes.

“The blockade at border entry points and the general strike in Bara, Parsa and other Tarai districts will be intensified,” Mahato told mediapersons here today.

He said if the UDMF agitation failed it could lead to three scenarios. “It could go into the hands of violent elements or take a communal form or strengthen the secessionist forces,” Mahato added, urging the government and the major parties to be serious about addressing demands of the UDMF.
