UML boss warns of change in guard of govt

Narayangarh, January 30:

Expressing dissatisfaction at the government’s performance, CPN-UML general secretary Jhalanath Khanal today warned that there could be a change in the guard of the government.

Talking to journalists at Bharatpur airport, Khanal said the government’s performance was disappointing on all fronts.

On allegations that UML was creating obstacles to the smooth functioning of the government, Khanal said, “UML is staying in the government just because it is a responsible party.”

Khanal ruled out any dispute within his party as single proposal was passed after holding a wider discussion for the upcoming general convention.

Khanal arrived here to attend the 10th district conference of the Nepal National Teachers’ Association.
