UML candidates win mayor, deputy mayor in Katari of Udayapur
KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML candidate Kaji Shrestha has been elected the mayor in Katari Municipality of Udayapur district.
Shrestha garnered 6,909 votes against his competitor Gyanendra Man Raut of Nepali Congress, who got 6,745 votes.
Similarly, Bhim Kumari Raut of CPN-UML was elected the deputy mayor with 7,517 votes. Her rival Nirmala Karki of Nepali Congress got 5,887 votes.
