UML, CPN-Maoist Centre will unify soon, says Dahal

Dhangadi, January 29

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today said that the CPN-UML and his party would go for merger shortly.

Talking to mediapersons at Kailali’s Bhajani after inauguration of Bhajani festival, Dahal said that solid preparations were under way for the party unification along with formation of provincial governments and election to the National Assembly. He, however, skipped the journalists’ questions about formation of the federal government. He simply said that everything would go ahead as per the verdict of the people.

Earlier, inaugurating Bhajani festival, Dahal said the left alliance would move ahead as per the verdict given by the people in the polls. “Left alliance will not go against the people’s verdict expressed in the polls. Politics from now onwards will focus on development and prosperity”, he added.

Dahal also pledged to solve the problems faced in the border areas. He vowed to work for agriculture, tourism and business promotion in the district.
