UML poll manifesto soon

Kathmandu, August 29:

The CPN-UML is set to prepare a draft of the party’s manifesto for the constituent assembly elections by the third week of September.

A panel headed by standing committee member Jhala Nath Khanal is soliciting suggestions from different walks of life across the country about the contents to be incorporated in the manifesto. The Khanal panel solicited suggestions from 200 people in Kathmandu yesterday.

Highlighting suggestions given by the participants, UML standing committee member and member of the Manifesto Drafting Committee Keshav Badal said that most of the participants suggested incorporating all the features of the new constitution point-wise in the manifesto.
