Unclaimed motorbikes on display in Bara
Bara, January 9
As many as 92 motorbikes have been kept on display at District Police Office, Bara, for owners to claim them.
Those unclaimed two wheelers were collected from various rural locations during a campaign launched by the district police last month to search for lost motorbikes .
The motorbikes will be kept on display with all necessary information on the premises of the police office for a week. DPO Bara Chief SP Raj Kumar Baidawar said the two-wheelers were put on exhibition so that the concerned owners, whose vehicles were lost, would claim and acquire them. The owners, however, have to show necessary documents for evidence to take back their bikes.
“Nobody approached the office today. If the owners do not approach us for the motorbikes, we will dispatch them to the customs office,” said SP Baidawar.
