Unidentified gang kidnaps teacher

Dhading, January 7:

Prakash Pandit, 35, a permanent teacher of the Jyoti secondary school in Kewalpur VDC of Dhading district, was kidnapped by an unidentified gang from his house yesterday night.

He was sleeping at his home after dinner when an armed gang comprised of 10 to 12 persons called him out of his house in the midnight saying they had to enquire about something and that they would send him back after a while. The group took my brother with them, Subash, Prakash’s brother, said appealing the human rights activists to work trace his whereabouts and release. Likewise, the Nepali Congress Dhading district chairman Ram Nath Adhikari and human rights organisations have appealed for his safe release at the earliest.
