Unity, cooperation needed for prosperity: Bhatta

Dhangadi, February 19

Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta of Province 7 said unity and cooperation among political parties were necessary for the country to move in the direction of prosperity.

Speaking at a programme organised today to mark the 68th Democracy Day in the Governor’s Office in Dhangadi, CM Bhatta said the authorities of Singha Durbar had reached the villages due to unity among the parties. “The government has increased people’s faith as it was formed in three levels,” he added. He further said preparations have been made to take the rights of Singha Durbar to the villages.

CM Bhatta said that they had to face all kinds of challenges to steer the federal democracy towards development of the province.

“All the political parties, unions, staffers and people have to unite for a prosperous province,” he urged.  Bhatta also said that it was now their responsibility to fulfil the dreams of martyrs who had sacrificed their lives in the people’s movement at different periods. He added that the country has the world’s best constitution although there have been protests time and again in the country. He said that people have to play a significant role to use their own rights properly.
