US based NRNs help school

A US-based organisation of non-residential Nepalis has made available Rs 738,000 to Chandika Primary School of Kalika VDC-9 in Kaski for the construction of a building.
The students were forced to take classes in huts after flood swept away the school building last year.
Murari Subedi, a member of US-based NRN’s organisation Empower Nepal Foundation (ENF), said the construction of a six-room building along with a toilet was recently completed.
According to him, the organisation has so far provided Rs 7 million in cash and other support to different organisations in Nepal and was eager to extend its help to other schools as well.
