WASHINGTON: Nepal is currently passing through a phase of major challenge and there is need to help it overcome this phase, the United States said on Friday. "Nepal is going through some major challenges," State Department Deputy Spokesman Robert Wood told reporters at a news conference on Thursday. "It's important for the countries of the region, the United States, and others to try to do what we can to help Nepal where we can," he said.
