TANAHUN: Various valuables were gutted when a fire engulfed a house in Ranipokhari-7 of Tanahun district on Tuesday.

According to the Tanahun District Police Office, the two-storey house that caught the fire today belonged to Rana Singh Rana. The fire gutted food crops, clothes and utensils inside the house, police added.

Police, however, have stated that the cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Investigation into the case is underway, they added.
