PARASI: VDC secretaries of Nawalparasi today informed that they were unable to carry out their works due to growing insecurity.

Issuing a press release after the meeting of VDC Secretaries’ Rights Protection Centre, the secretaries have informed so. The press release has mentioned that the secretaries were feeling insecure due to demands for donation and other threats including explosion in their residence.

The also urged the authorities concerned to provide them security for smooth running of development projects and for providing service to the service-seekers. VDC secretaries have also requested all the underground organisations to settle any issue through dialogue and help create a conductive environment for them.
